Building a successful online course and coaching business isn't just about creating great content—it's about getting that content in front of the right people and converting interest into sales. One of the most effective ways to do this is through email marketing. This is the email marketing strategy that I used to build my 7 Figure Course Creation & Online Coaching business, and I’m excited to share it with you.

The Power of More

When it comes to email marketing, less is NOT more. In fact, MORE is MORE. Early in my journey, I discovered that increasing the frequency of my emails led directly to an increase in sales. Consistency and persistence are key.

Finding the Right Frequency

While you need to find the right number of emails that work for you and your audience, here’s the strategy that works for my business:

Initial Week Flow

In the first week after someone joins my database, they receive a flow of 6-8 emails. Here’s how that breaks down:

  1. Welcome Email: Introduce yourself and your brand.
  2. Bonus Training Session: Offer valuable content right away.
  3. Sales Email with Discounted Offer: Introduce a product with a special offer.
  4. Testimonial Emails: Share success stories and reviews.
  5. Reminder Emails: Three additional emails reminding them about the offer.

Monthly Sales Flow

If they don’t purchase during the initial flow, they get another chance with my End of Month Sales Email Flow. This flow gives everyone who joined my database in the last 30 days a limited-time offer. This means that within the first 30 days of joining my email list, they receive two separate sales flows.

When I first implemented this, I was worried about a high number of unsubscribes without any additional sales. However, the opposite happened—we saw an increase in sales while unsubscribes stayed around 1-2%.

Quarterly Sales Flow

The strategy doesn't stop there. I also run an End of Quarter Sales Email Flow aligned with key dates throughout the year:

  • March/April: My birthday sale
  • End of June: End of Financial Year sale
  • November: Black Friday sale
  • December: End of Year sale

Each time I send these emails, I see a significant increase in sales.
